Founder & Director of Nurturing Independence
Hi, I’m Amy, the Founder and Director of Nurturing Independence.
With over 10 years of experience in the disability sector—and as a mother to two children with disabilities—I am deeply passionate about providing compassionate, person-centered support that fosters independence, dignity, and choice.

Our support workers are here to empower, assist, and uplift individuals with disabilities. We provide personalized care that respects your choices, promotes independence, and helps you live life your way.
Cleaning Services
Whether you need regular cleaning, a one-off deep clean, or help getting everything organized, we’ve got you covered. From making beds to doing the dishes, we take care of it all.
Gardening Services
I offer reliable gardening services to keep your outdoor spaces looking their best – no task is too big or small!
Support Coordination Services
We help you make the most of your NDIS plan through tailored support coordination, connecting you with community, informal, and funded supports, building your skills to manage your plan and live independently, and providing expert assistance for complex needs to ensure consistent and reliable support.
STA/Respite Services
We offer short-term accommodation and respite care for up to 14 days, giving you a break from your usual routine. Whether you need time away when your regular carers aren’t available or want to try something new, I’m here to make it happen.
